The Center for Teaching Excellence presents awards annually to recognize Rice community members for their dedication to teaching and mentoring. Four Rice Bioengineering faculty have been honored this year for their outstanding service.

Charles W. Duncan, Jr. Achievement Award for Outstanding Faculty: Jacob Robinson, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Associate Professor of Bioengineering
Rice University Faculty Award for Excellence in University Service and Leadership: Rebecca Richards-Kortum, Malcolm Gillis University Professor; Professor of Bioengineering
