Bioengineering Alumni
Alumni Awards
The Department of Bioengineering's alumni awards honor excellence in research, teaching, service, or significant contributions to the bioengineering industry, academia, or society.
The Outstanding Graduate Alumnus and the Outstanding Undergraduate Alumnus awards are given to alumni who have received their degree within 10 years prior to submitting the application for the award, and candidates may have a B.S. or Ph.D. from Rice in any discipline as long as their career path is in bioengineering.
There is no time limit for graduation of the Distinguished Alumnus award.

Rice Engineering Alumni (REA)
Rice Engineering Alumni (REA) is the official alumni organization for the George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University. Formed in 1938, the REA is the oldest alumni organization at Rice.
